Sharing: LIVING IN A BEAUTIFUL STATE

The most basic truth: that I am on this earth, in this human vessel, to experience the Divine!

First and foremost, I would like to thank my Amma Bhagavan, Krishnaji, Preethaji, Acharya Anandagiriji, and Utpalaji of the Oneness University, for the transformation they have brought into my life. I am eternally grateful to my childhood friend, Anuradha Chandrasekhar, for introducing Bhagavan to me all those years ago, and guiding me in my soul path.

THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!

Anuradha introduced Oneness to me in 1996, and held my hand while I attended my first class—Vara Yagna—in Nemam in May 1997. At that time, I wasn’t aware of how she had introduced me to the wonder which was my inner journey into finding myself, and ultimately, my Divine.

The latest course which I attended at Oneness University was Ekam Tapas, which lasted for 28 days, in the year 2022. While I had many wonderful experiences during the course itself, it was my journey after I returned to my regular life which was the most impactful. Which is what happens every time I go for my spiritual classes at Oneness. They are all intense, with powerful energy transfers (deekshas) from my Gurus.

I have been relentless in continuing with my meditations, especially being aware of every single thought which crosses my mind, vigilantly, watching them all, like a hawk watches its prey.

I recall to mind what Bhagavan has said about this. “Watching your thoughts will become the most interesting sadhana, as nothing can fascinate you more than the play of your mind.” This is not an exact quote, but the gist of what He has told us.

And it became an experience in my life from January 2003, when my Antaryaamin became fully alive at this point. This has helped me tremendously in my spiritual journey.

It is not only watching one’s thoughts, but to do so without judgement. A tall order, indeed. But then, we arrive at it with constant vigilance, and the blessings of the Lord.

Surrender does not come easily, especially to a control freak such as myself. But Bhagavan says that one of the highest forms of surrender is to be aware that there is no surrender within oneself.

THIS IS SO TRUE!

Krishnaji and Preethaji insist that there are only one of two states which everyone lives in: A Beautiful State or a Suffering State.

The first one leads you to abundance and peace. The second one to the exact opposite. Sounds so easy and achievable in theory, but how to get there in practice?

They have many teachings, contemplations, meditations and deekshas to help us reach a Beautiful State.

To begin with, I attended Ekam Tapas, to drive away the demons which kept repeatedly pushing me down to a suffering state. Did the 28 days bring about a transformation in me?

Yes, to some extent. I was living in a Beautiful State for about a month after I returned from Tapas, before I began sliding down to suffering, when day-to-day life encroached upon me.

I continued to practise the meditations and awareness, but kept going up and down like a see-saw. But the good thing was the recovery from suffering to non-suffering state was swifter than before. It was like climbing on a spiral, where you rise up to a level, but slide back down a little before you rise again, every time reaching a higher level.

I truly thank Utpalaji for her kindness, patience and love when I used to bother her so often, crying out my heart whenever I lost control of my life…

…only to realise about ten weeks ago, that I have never been in control.

AND IT HAPPENED, FINALLY!

I woke up one morning to immediately slide into my suffering when I saw that my book sales were mediocre. I nagged my Antaryaamin Bhagavan, accusing him of being unkind to me, and not bothering to answer my prayers. I was crying and cribbing and complaining, falling into a state of deep suffering.

I allowed myself to wallow in my suffering, completely, throwing my arms up to the Divine and truly realising that there was nothing I could do about it.

Suddenly, it felt as if a lamp was switched on in my brain.

Why was I praying? What is prayer? I asked myself these questions, realising that I was using prayer as a tool to manipulate God.

Shocking? Yes. But it was the truth. I was trying to control, manipulate God into giving me what I wanted, what I desired, what I craved. I was trying to force Him to not give me anything which I didn’t want, or desire, or disliked.

Are you able to see the humour in this situation? Well, I did. And I was simply amazed at my own audacity: believing that I was in control of my life, my experiences. In this whole thing, I had forgotten the most basic truth: that I am on this earth, in this human vessel, to experience the Divine, which is omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent. And I was trying to manipulate this Divine, believing foolishly, that I (the small I as against the Universal I) knew better.

This maybe something I have learned repeatedly, and was very well aware of. But for the first time, I actually experienced it.

It was true liberation from suffering. I realised the complete lack of sense in praying. At least, the kind of prayer I used to do: keep asking, even begging, sometimes arguing, threatening my Divine to give me this or that, or both.

Prayers simply left me, exactly how the teachers at Oneness had said that unnecessary things will leave us: like a leaf falling off a tree during autumn, effortlessly. It simply falls away because it is meant to do exactly that.

FREEDOM!

My mind chatter reduced to a great extent, and I began to feel more energetic soon after this experience. It isn’t as if my mind has stopped chattering. Not really! But the impact has reduced tremendously. I still complain, continue to judge the people around me, and constantly comment—LOL. I am still the same person, but what has happened is that I feel completely detached from my thoughts. I realise that I have nothing to do with them and keep watching my thoughts as I would watch a movie. And believe me, it is as interesting as Bhagavan promised it would be.

The energy in my physical body is incredibly high. I used to be a lazy, lethargic lump of fat. These days, when I walk, I don’t even wheeze; and I walk way faster than before. The aches and pains have reduced tremendously. And I realise that it is because of my non-suffering state. Amazing, isn’t it?

There was a time when I had forgotten how to smile. That was almost a decade ago. With a lot of spiritual practices, I relearned to smile, but still it was an effort.

Today, I SMILE when I am walking, at nothing. I SMILE when there is nobody with me. I SMILE when I am watching TV—it does not matter if the scene is happy or sad, I just SMILE. I SMILE when reading a book. I SMILE at the crow at my window, at the squirrels. I SMILE and speak to the cats I meet on the street.

I am simply unable to stop SMILING.

And for this BEAUTIFUL STATE, I thank my Amma Bhagavan, Krishnaji, Preethaji. This is complete non-suffering, and I have been experiencing it for the last, at least 10 weeks, if not more.

Thank you, my Bhagavan, for BEING LOVE. Thank you for living in me, filling me with LOVE, to the exclusion of everything else.

I LOVE YOU!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Sundari Venkatraman is an Indie Author who has 71 books to her credit, the latest book being LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION! Though it is the third book in the Bollywood Bros trilogy, it can be read as a standalone romance novel. Her books have consistently featured in the Top 100 Bestseller Lists on Amazon India, Amazon USA, Amazon UK, Amazon Canada and Amazon Australia in both romance as well as Asian Drama categories. Her latest hot romances have all been on #1 Bestseller slot in Amazon India for over a month.

These days, the author is independently publishing her novels in paperback format under her banner Flaming Sun, printed and distributed by Notion Press.

Even as a child, Sundari absolutely loved the ‘lived happily ever after’ syndrome and she grew up on a steady diet of fairy tales, Phantom comics and Mandrake comics. It was always about good triumphing over evil and a happy ending after the protagonists surmounted all unexpected obstacles.

Once she entered her teens, Sundari switched her loyalties from fairy tales to Mills & Boon. While she loved reading both of these, she kept visualising what would have happened if there were similar situations happening in India; to local heroes and heroines. And of course, the joy of vanquishing the ubiquitous evil villains! Her imagination soared and she happily ensconced herself in a rosy romantic cocoon for many years.

Then came the writing—a true bolt from the blue! And Sundari Venkatraman has never looked back.

Spirituality: My Journey to Oneness

Shri Preethaji at Bodhi Mumbai

My name is Sundari Venkatraman and I am an Indie Author living in Mumbai. I can call myself a bestselling Amazon author, all thanks to Sri Amma who writes novels (59 books, so far) through me, so much so that many times I don’t even recognize the words which I have typed out on my laptop.

It was in 1996 when Anuradha Chandrashekhar introduced me to Sri Bhagavan. I was so excited to know that God has come to live on earth along with us all. It was in 1997 when I attended my first Oneness Event, the Vara Yagna. I have never looked back after that.

Recently, I attended the Bodhi Mumbai Event from May 13-15, 2022 and received some tremendous teachings and Deekshas from Sri Preethaji and Acharya Samadarshiniji. I am truly blessed indeed. While receiving a number of experiences, awakenings and visions during the programme, I always value those which I continue to receive after returning home, ruminating on the teachings.

It hit me on Tuesday that I was undergoing a deep suffering state due to “lack of faith”. My close friends thought it was really odd as I have a powerful Antaryaamin where not only Amma & Bhagavan, but also Krishnaji, Preethaji, Lord Ganesha, Lord Murugan, Lord Shiva, Lord Venkateswara, Lord Jesus and others guide me during all my waking hours.

But the fact remains that I was suffering from lack of faith. I went back down memory lane and realised that I always believed that my prayers would be answered – in the vague future. Not in the NOW. We all know that linear time exists only in our earthly realm and nowhere else in the universe. What does that make me then? Exactly! I WAS a person WITHOUT FAITH.

I was SHATTERED! While I have been sort of aware of my lack of faith, I had never realised the depth of it. I felt as if I was uprooted and blown away in the wind, unable to find a foothold anywhere.

If there was no faith in me, then what or who was God? I had NO GOD now. I wanted to hit my head against a wall, which is what I did in my mind. So hard did I break my head that the next moment, I threw my arms up in the air, totally giving up. I felt that my life was not worth living if I had no God in it.

I was in tears and I thought to myself, “Who should I speak to, now that I have found out there is no God? After all, how can there be a God when there is no faith?” You will understand how heartbroken I must have been as I speak to God through all my waking hours, chatting non-stop.

I suddenly recalled Sri Preethaji mentioning, “whether you are a theist or an atheist, it does not matter. Both hold a powerful belief. While one believes there is no God, the other believes that there is God.” NOW WHAT DID THAT MAKE ME? I was neither here nor there.

I continued to hold my suffering like a baby, looked into it without losing courage. I have to thank my Amma Bhagavan for this. I had requested them not to allow me to stop this midway and escape from it, until I experienced it to the full.

Last night, when I went to sleep, Lord Murugan (my Ishta Devata) told me to rest well, but to continue with the process the next day. I was wide awake, so I said, “Why not do it right now?” I saw Amma nodding as she said, “You are right. Go on.” And so, I continued to experience the suffering of having no faith. I don’t know when I went to sleep.

I woke up at around 4 am, grinning. YES! However strange that might sound, I was grinning widely to myself and to my Divine. Just as I wondered what had happened to me suddenly, I was gurgling with laughter.

I had no faith! So what?! That is all there is to it. I had nothing to do with it. It was simply lack of faith. It took a lot of control not to burst out laughing loudly as I giggled softly to myself, careful not to wake my husband up. I WAS COMPLETELY FREE OF MY SUFFERING!!!

What do I say? I am so full of gratitude to all my Gods and my Gurus for their invaluable Deekshas and blessings.

Another thing I noticed in the middle of the night. My chattering mind, hundreds and thousands of thoughts buzzing in my head always… don’t quite know what has happened to it. I feel strange pockets of silence, without chatter. It’s so new and so strange that I am not even sure what is happening. Will keep you all informed regarding this process as it progresses.

And as for the suffering states, I have not stopped the process. I plan to continue to run through each state of suffering, only to stop when I am completely out of suffering – just as Sri Krishnaji has promised that it’s possible to be.

My prayer – to lift the consciousness of at least one lakh people to the states I rise up to.

Ekam Tapas – here I come… soon!!!

How I envisage life on EARTH on December 21, 2012!

Strangers hug each other

Archangel Michael: We have told you often, you are and will continue to be the cause of all the rest. Your questions remain. When? You are the key. What? You are the key. How? You are the key. And the larger the scope of change you look for, the more of you are part of the key. Do you understand? So if you are looking for huge changes, spend time giving energy and thought to what those changes will be.
Archangel Michael

I was quite excited to read this message from AAM as I had been planning to write a blog on what I feel will be the scene on December 12, 2012. What comes after that date can of course only get better.

Click here to read what my Antaryaamin has to say about the onset of the Golden Age.

It’s barely a week to the dawn of the Golden Age on December 21, 2012. Can you feel the excitement in the very air we are breathing in?

I can hear my heart thudding louder than ever and my pulse fizzing in anticipation of the great times to come.

A few scenes that I could envisage in my mind’s eye:

The air feels so clear and invigorating with not a particle of dust. Pollution is a thing of the past. Can you imagine that!
The sky is a brilliant blue with fluffy clouds floating around
The trees and plants are a brilliant green with love emanating from them as they sway in the gentle breeze with joy
There is no honking as people are not rushing any more to get from one place to another. They take more time to experience the atmosphere and all things around them
Automatically, the lack of noise brings forth the sounds of birds singing and squirrels screeching
The very air is filled with excitement, joy, harmony, unity, balance, love and peace
All the terrible insects, pests, viruses, etc. have all gone back to where they came from and Pandora’s Box is finally shut tight, not to let any of these out
The Doctors are super-excited as they write out discharge sheets for every single patient in their hospitals. All medical tests turn out negative and everyone is given a clean health chit. Well, maybe some of the gynaecologists will find themselves busy as they help welcome new citizens into the world.
No report of a single death
The Police Department enjoys leisure as not a single crime – theft, rape, murder, whatever – is reported. Accidents are unheard of!
The Military, The Air Force and The Navy are deployed on peace missions as war has ended forever in the world
The Fire Department is celebrating the dawn of The Golden Age by singing and dancing with joy
• The Mainstream Media has been going about their work as usual while the newspapers go for print till the Zero hour. Suddenly, everyone AWAKENS at 00.01 AM on 21.12.2012 and they call off the printing of the papers as the news is all negative. There are no printed newspapers available on December 21, 2012 while online updates - all positive - appear as if by magic while everyone in the industry has been working hard through the night.
Strangers stop to grin at one another and share warm HUGs

Into this scenario glide in our Star Brothers and Sisters on their Spaceships to dance along with us in JOY!

I invite each and every one of my readers to share their views as comments on what they can foresee for December 21, 2012.

Sharing: A VISIT TO THE ONENESS TEMPLE

Oneness Temple (Mukti Mandap)

Sri Amma Bhagavan: Man cannot make it on his own; it has to be given to him

The Oneness University was established by Sri Amma Bhagavan at Varadaiahpalem, Andhra Pradesh and they also have a centre at Nemam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

The Oneness Temple is a marble wonder that was inaugurated by Sri Amma Bhagavan in April 2008 and is now the centre around which the university revolves.

The road within the Temple campus leading to the Mukti Mandap

The temple has been constructed on the instructions of Sri Bhagavan to help people attain Mukti or Enlightenment. For those who came in late, Amma & Bhagavan are the avatars for enlightenment. They have taken birth on this earth to give enlightenment to mankind and ring in the Sathya Yuga (Golden Age) on or before December 21, 2012.

The huge compound has many other buildings too - dining hall, a shop, offices, Dhyan Mandir and more

I recently went to the Oneness Temple to attend the Super Process. While I have attended a few courses offered by the Oneness University, they have been at Nemam, Varadaiahpalam Campus and at Sathyaloka in Karnataka. This was the first time I got an opportunity to attend a process at the Temple itself.

The Oneness Temple is considered the ‘womb of the Goddess’ and the whole process was a tremendous experience.

We had classes conducted by the Oneness Guides on Day One. Day Two started with an ‘Angapradakshinam’ – to roll with one’s body around the main praharam in the temple. We did this on the second floor. This was my first experience of doing Angapradakshinam. I have always wanted to do it at Tirupati and finally got my chance when I rolled around the Oneness Temple. It was a terrific experience and leads to an extreme level of cleansing in the system.

This stylish cab carts  senior citizens and physically challenged folk  around the campus. The people in the picture
waited with me to meet Namannji. We got a lift to the entrance to collect our luggage

More classes were conducted within the Oneness Temple and it was a beautiful experience.

The time I liked best was when the course was completed on the third day and almost everyone had left the temple campus. A few of us were waiting for a meeting with the Oneness Guide Namannji.

I clicked this picture when I was inside the Temple. Yeah, the compound is huge set in 42 sq. km

The whole area was quiet and one could feel the tremendous peace in the campus. It was simply amazing and I was so happy to just sit there and absorb the atmosphere. A truly wonderful experience indeed!

Some guidelines (with updates as recent as July 2017):

1. The Oneness Temple is open from Tuesday to Sunday (Monday is holiday) and the darshan timings are 10 am to 1 pm in the morning and 4 pm to 5 pm in the evening. The public is allowed only during this time inside the temple as it is kept free for the many courses conducted there.
2. Free entry. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner at a cost. It is better to buy the tokens in advance.
4. Public Transport Buses are available from Chennai and there is a bus-stop called Mukti Mandap right outside the temple.
5. The closest train station is Tada.
6. Auto-rickshaws are available to and from the station or places nearby but cost a bomb.
7. Tourist taxis from Chennai charge Rs. 3000 for a round-trip to the temple and four people can travel at one time.

This is Campus 2 at Varadaiahpalem where our dormitaries were. This is a half-hour journey from the Oneness Temple.
Three buses carted the lot of us to and from the Oneness Temple to Campus 2 on all three days.

CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD – 1

I have been hearing Bhagavan speaking from within me as my ANTARYAAMIN (Inner Voice) and guiding me in many different ways from January, 2003.

I have spoken about this to my family and many of my friends. Now, I have decided to put some of this learning into my blog.

TODAY'S DIALOGUE:

Sundari: Will there be desires once we move into 5-Dimension Earth?

Bhagavan: Most definitely yes. You must understand that ‘Desire’ is the very basis for creation and consequently growth. If there is no desire, you will tend to stagnate and that is not acceptable to the soul or God, however you choose to call it.

Sundari: Then how come we feel so mixed up and sad with so many ‘wants’ unfulfilled?

Bhagavan: Let’s not get ‘Desire’ and ‘Want’ mixed up. ‘Wanting’ is a state of ‘Lack’. I hope we are clear about that. When you ‘want’ something, it means that you don’t have it.

The Universe is ABUNDANCE!

When you believe that deep within you that something is NOT THERE and seek it in terms of ‘wanting’ it, you never get it. Do you understand that? You are asking for something that you are convinced from deep within that is just not there. That is the state of ‘want’ and this soon leads you to desperation. The more desperately you ‘want’ something, the further it moves away from you. You must understand that the conviction deep within you is that what you are ‘wanting’ is just not available.

Whereas ‘Desire’ is to wish for something that you know is very much there for you, brought to you from the Universe that is ABUNDANCE itself. There is no question of whether you will get it or not. The thought is born within you that you wish for something or wish to be something and ‘lo and behold’, there it is. There is no choice but for you to receive this. Desires are meant to be fulfilled. And this is the life you will find on 5-Dimension Earth.

Sundari: But how do we change from the state of ‘Want’ to ‘Desire’?

Bhagavan: This is quite effortless and will become automatic when you ascend and become a Mukta. You will realize from within your whole BEing that the Universe is ABUNDANCE itself and there is no ‘want’. Once, your BEing is clear about this, you will grow away from the state of ‘Wanting’. Then, whenever a ‘Desire’ is born from within, you will realize that it is the most natural feeling and you will also understand that the whole of the Universe has been waiting only for that moment, to make you realize your dream. That is all!

Sundari: Thank you so much Bhagavan! :D

So, if you have a prayer, a wish, a desire, go ahead and seek it from the Universe (ABUNDANCE).

Uttering this shloka will help after making your wish clear to the Divine:

OM SACHIDANANDA PARABRAHMA, PURUSHOTHAMA PARAMATHMA,
SRI BHAGAVATHI SAMEDHA, SRI BHAGAVATHE NAMAHA!

How many times? As many as you wish to!

Should it be in the morning or evening? Whenever, even bedtime! I am most at peace praying while sitting on my bed late in the night. No visitors, no phone calls, etc. to interrupt me.

Should I have had a bath? Should it be before I have had my breakfast or lunch or…? Does not matter. There is not a time or a place when/where the Divine is not there with you.

Another tip that I learnt from my Antaryaamin:

Uttering shlokas is great, but most of the time, we don’t understand what we are saying in these prayers that are usually in Sanskrit. While the Divine understands all languages! Speak to your God as you would to your friend, father, mother, brother, sister or whatever. That works for the best! God is my BEST FRIEND!

Sharing: GOODBYE 2010! WELCOME 2011!

Goodbye 2010!
I am glad that we are one year closer to The Golden Age. The world is moving at a fast pace towards the Aquarian Age that will be so full of happiness and peace with the consciousness level of human beings enhanced tremendously. All this is thanks to Amma Bhagavan who have come down to earth to bless MAN with enlightenment. There are already a few thousands of people who have attained enlightenment and Bhagavan has predicted a tremendous pace of progress in 2011. I am really looking forward to this and thank Amma Bhagavan for being here on this earth to bring about this monumental feat.

And more importantly, I am grateful that I am also born on this earth at this point in time, to ring in the Golden Age.

Thank you, Amma Bhagavan, for giving deeksha to millions of people through me – using me as an instrument to bring about enlightenment.

Thank you Amma Bhagavan, for letting me help you in your Avatar purpose – to bring enlightenment to man.

There are also an infinite number of things that I would like to thank God for bringing about in my life in the year 2010. I am but bringing a few highlights to you.

1.    Life has been wonderful for all four of us – Venkat, Vinitha, Vigneshkumar and myself, especially healthwise. We have come into these aloe vera health supplements – Forever Living Products – manufactured by a 32-year-old American company. The best products that I have come across in all the years of my life. Our lives have changed after we started to use these supplements on a regular basis. Now, we can probably bifurcate our life as before FLP and after FLP. Thank you Amma Bhagavan.
2.    Another good thing that came out of this was that Vignesh has taken FLP as his full time business. At present he has grown up to the state of Assistant Supervisor, which is a great thing. This also gives him enough time to pursue his music career. Thank you AB.
3.    Talking of music career, Vignesh has his own progressive death metal band, ORION. Besides that, now he is also part of the power metal band, ALBATROSS. He is the guitarist for the same. Thank you God.
4.    Another wonderful thing was that we could get a music processor, a hi-fi one, for Vignesh. I am grateful to God that we could buy this as it is very helpful in his progress in the music world.
5.    Vignesh got Typhoid in the beginning of September. He was quite ill for a while. But thanks to AB, he had an extremely quick recovery and is as fit as a fiddle today. Thank you AB!
6.    Vinitha’s had a gala year too. She stood first in her college (MBA, Jamnalal Bajaj) for both the first and second semester exams. It is a great achievement for her as she has always been an average student at school and a just above average performer at college. Thank you so much Bhagavan.
7.    As far as Vinitha’s career is concerned, that is also going places. Her name appeared in The Times Of India, not once, but twice, in December 2010. We are all mighty thrilled about the same. Thank you Amma.
December 10, 2010
December 27, 2010
8.    Venkat’s health is way better than it had been the earlier year. His stomach problems are set right forever with the advent of FLP in our lives. Thank you Bhagavan.
9.    Venkat is also busy with our building society work. There were any number of problems that had to be faced in our building this year, especially a major water problem. But Venkat could sort them all with great clarity all thanks only to Amma Bhagavan. He is also enjoying the work, while he is well appreciated doing the same as the secretary of our building.
10.    Major renovations are happening in our building and Venkat is the main person taking care of the same with a bit of help from a couple of others. The building is so wonderful now. Thank you God.
11.    Due to structural repairs in our building, we also had to carry out some renovations at home. All this progressed smoothly and our drawing room appears awesome with box grills and lovely new windows. Thank you Amma!
12.    It is thanks to AB that Venkat, Viggy and I could take a short trip to Govinda Resorts in Lonavla. It was a lovely one.
13.    I have a cook since the beginning of the year. Tina is a treasure and a great help every morning as she prepares lunch and packs all our dubbas. Thank you Bhagavan.
14.    I have forayed deeper into the blogging world. Besides Flaming Sun that was begun in June 2009, I have two more blogs added to my kitty. There is Cupid Strike Series which is a blog of my romantic novel series. One novel, The Malhotra Bride, is already completed. The second one, Meghna, is on just now.  Then there is Rising Sun – a Project 365 venture. This is a photo blog that features one photo per day on a daily basis. Thank you Amma!
15.    I even have a fan page on Facebook for Cupid Strike Series. It has 140 fans since I started it in November, 2010.
16.    I am so glad that my sister Suja’s daughter Vidya is engaged to be married. It is due to God’s grace that Sujatha and Athimber found a son-in-law very close to home. And I am really looking forward to attending Vidya’s wedding and Vijay’s poonal in February 2011 along with my whole family. Thank you God.
17.    My Thatha passed away peacefully in May 2010. He lived like a legend till the grand age of 97 and was nothing less than a king just as his name suggested. Thank you God for bringing moksham to my grandfather.
18.    As usual, I save the best for the last. May 2010 was appraisal time at work. While the CEO of the company agreed that I did a great job, he gave me a pittance for a raise with a measly 5% hike. I was told that it was because I was already highly paid. With great disappointment, but with unwavering faith in AB, I went and spoke to him for half an hour. Thanks to my Thatha’s skills of persuasion and with God’s super blessings, I got a new letter making my hike all of 20% the very same day. Thank you so much Amma Bhagavan.

Well, that is the end of a wonderful 2010 and I cannot say that I am sorry to see it end. A New Year with wonderful beginnings especially in the field of enlightenment is what I am looking forward too.

Here’s wishing all my readers a WONDERFUL 2011!

Spirituality: THE POWER OF DEEKSHA

Srimurti Deeksha
What is Deeksha?

Touch Deeksha
Deeksha is a transfer of Divine Energy. Anyone who has been trained by a Guru can give Deeksha to oneself and to others. I have received initiation from Amma Bhagavan’s disciples at Oneness University. One can even give Deeksha to pets, the electronic gadgets in one’s home, the environment and just about anything one can think of giving energy to. The Deeksha giver hones into the energy of the Divine or God or Universe as one believes and transfers it to the person who is receiving it. It takes but a few minutes – 3 minutes at the most – to transfer energy to the person who needs it.

Why give Deeksha?

December 21, 2012 is around the corner and that's the date when the world will move into the Golden Age. Amma and Bhagavan - the avatars of enlightenment - have gifted humanity with this phenomenon to help spread enlightenment among everyone. The idea is to make 70,000 people enlightened by December 2012, by which the whole of the earth's population approximating 7 billion will automatically ascend into 5D. Refer 100th monkey effect to understand this.

Types of Deeksha

Deeksha can be given through Thought or Smarana Deeksha. The person or object needing to be energised will be thought of and powerful positive intentions are sent to them.

Nayana Deeksha or Deeksha given by looking at someone. The power is drawn from the Divine and given to the person who needs healing and love through the eyes.

Touch Deeksha is by placing the palms of one’s hands together on the receiver’s head and praying for the Divine to heal through touch.

Paduka Deeksha is to place Amma Bhagavan’s padukas on the receiver’s head and pray for healing and love.

Deeksha from the Srimurti of Amma Bhagavan is something anyone can give himself. Just touch the Srimurti with both hands and keep your hands on your head for 3 minutes. A tremendous transformation happens when you do this.

What happens to the person who receives Deeksha?

Paduka Deeksha
Any number of things can happen to the person receiving Deeksha. It can happen instantly or it may take a while depends on the state of the person receiving it. It has nothing to do with whether the person is what society would term ‘good’ or ‘bad’.

1.    Health problems the receiver is ailing from get sorted out miraculously or they find the right treatment for the same.
2.    If the person is having financial problems, they will get sorted out.
3.    If he or she is having a problem is relationship – say with the spouse, parents or children – it will get sorted out.
4.    If the person is desiring for something – such as a job, a own house or a car – they will get what they are seeking or at least find a way to go about it in a simple fashion.
5.    One might find great peace and joy flowing through one after taking Deeksha.
6.    Many miracles have happened and have continued to happen on receiving Deeksha.

What happens physically is that the Deeksha changes the quality of water present in one’s physical body. Water takes up 80% of one’s body. This transformation in the water transforms all the cells in one person’s body. After Deeksha, the receiver literally becomes a new person.

Nayana Deeksha
How does it affect the person who gives Deeksha?

A frequently asked question is whether the person giving Deeksha is adversely affected by doing so often.

Not at all! It’s quite the reverse in fact. The more one gives Deeksha to others, the more the giver benefits.

Sharing: DAY OF RELATIONSHIPS

June 9 is Amma Bhagavan's Wedding Day. Oneness declares this as the Day of Relationships. Bhagavan reiterates the importance of family and relationships that need to be maintained to make the journey into Satyug as smooth as can be. As He had mentioned during the Mukti Darshan, the times are getting worse and only Mukti will lead us to our salvation. The foremost step towards attaining Mukti is setting right relationships - with one's mother, father, spouse and children. Experiencing people for what they are is the ultimate goal.

Let's all pray to Amma and Bhagavan to set right all relationships on this wonderful day. I also wish Amma & Bhagavan a wonderful Wedding Anniversary!

Thank you for being there Amma Bhagavan!

Sharing: MUKTI DARSHAN

Sunday, May 30, 2010 was indeed a very important day in the history of Mumbai city. Amma and Bhagavan gave darshan to tens of thousands of people at the MMRDA Grounds at Bandra-Kurla Complex. It was indeed a momentous occasion for humanity.

People thronged the grounds despite the sunlight and heat, eagerly awaiting the darshan of Bhagavan on two huge screens set up at the front. The programme began with a Kalash Pooja and later on a few people shared their experiences after attending Oneness Programmes. These included the Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty.

Bhagavan came on screen to take the Mukti Class in detail. It was on similar lines to the one that happened in the month of April at Ghatkopar. Only this time, Bhagavan explained everything elaborately, about the times to come and how attaining Mukti will help keep one safe from all kinds of calamities. The darshan and talk lasted almost half an hour.

After that, we meditated for 49 minutes as instructed by Bhagavan while we all took Paduka Deeksha from Deeksha-givers. Then it was time for the highlight of the event - Darshan of both Amma & Bhagavan. It was just SUPERB! They were on screen for 20 minutes and gave Deeksha and Blessings to all those present. I could just feel the love emanating from the two of them. I am so glad that all four of us in the family could attend the same.

There was a live telecast of the programme on Sanskar TV from 6.30 to 8.30 pm and I am glad that my sisters and parents at Chennai could see it.

I saved the best part till the last. My daughter, Vinitha and I had told at least 25 people about the darshan and invited them. Only Vinitha’s friend, Vinayak Kamath, turned up for the programme.

The lucky guy had miracles happening to him the very next day. The company he works for had not given Vinayak a bonus for two years and they gave him a letter declaring a bonus of Rs. 97,000 and also a hefty pay hike. The more Vinayak said “thanks” to the Srimurti, more things began to work out – all those things that had been pending for so long.

This is but one of the many miracles that are happening around the world. Thank you so much, Amma Bhagavan, for taking care of all of us.

Sharing: A DATE WITH BHAGAVAN

Bhagavan had invited a little more than 2,000 people from Maharashtra for a class at the Oneness Temple on Friday, December 18, 2009. My husband Venkat and I were a couple of the lucky ones that were chosen.

We reached the Oneness Temple by 7.30 am in the morning. There was absolutely no trouble reaching the temple that is situated at Sathyavedu in Andhra Pradesh – all thanks to Bhagavan – despite the turmoil that was burning in the Telugu state. We walked around the premises waiting for the class to begin.

The call came to assemble in the ground floor hall of the temple at 10.30 am. We walked inside while being watched by curious monkeys that were hanging around – literally – on the marble carvings and pillars. We all settled down in front of a huge screen and waited with bated breath for Bhagavan to appear.

11.30 am and He was there on the huge screen, blessing us and smiling at the uproarious welcome that greeted him. After a couple of bhajans, Bhagavan began his talk.

I have done my best to bring to you everything that Sri Bhagavan shared with us on this auspicious day.

Bhagavan spoke to us about Mukti. Mukti is described as a state of no desires, no problems and one of a Sanyasi. In today’s world, as we approach 2012, the state of Sanyasi is not required to attain Mukti and a Grahastha (family man or woman) can very well attain Mukti. ‘No desires’ does not mean that we have to give up or squash our desires but that all of them will be granted before we attain Mukti. All our problems related to health, wealth and relationships will be resorted before attaining Mukti.

Bhagavan plans to concentrate on granting our desires and solving our problems and He promises to resolve both within six months. Most of us have been attending the many courses at Oneness University and have had many dreams fulfilled and problems sorted out due to the teachings there. But there are still many things that need taking care of. What Bhagavan says is that all along we have been listening to teachings. Now the time has come to learn everything as an experience.

He gave the example of a Westerner who had attended the 21-day course at Oneness University. Let’s call him Tom. He had tremendous pain on his left shoulder and the left side of his chest. It could not be cured despite meeting several doctors and undergoing many medical examinations. To begin with, Tom underwent an experience that he had had when he had been about five years of age. He had been playing at the beach along with his friends building sand-castles. While they were all digging in, young Tom fell inside and the others jumped over him without realising that he was buried under the sand. Luckily for Tom, an adult passing by saw what was happening and saved him from sure death. This had caused a lot of pain on his left shoulder and chest. Usually, when a person undergoes a past experience, the charge disappears and the pain immediately goes away. But not so in Tom’s case! In the next class, he was taken even further back in time, into his mother’s womb. There, Tom could feel his mother’s pelvic bone pressing against the baby Tom’s left side. The pain never left even at this point and he had to wait for the next class. Then, he was taken into a past life experience four hundred years back. Tom had been a soldier in the cavalry in that incarnation. The horse he was riding jumped suddenly and Tom fell off. He was crushed by other running horses, jumped over his left shoulder and chest and had died because of these injuries. The pain immediately left the present day Tom. The charge of the experience four hundred years back had returned to haunt Tom in his mother’s womb, later at the age of five and till the present day.

Bhagavan spoke about how life is related to the way a baby is born, whether naturally or by Caesarean, about the reactions of people who are gathered around the baby at that point, the mother’s response and more. These have lasting effects on the person you turn out to be and this can be either positive or negative. It is the negative that blocks success and wealth, breaks up relationships or spoils one’s health.

Bhagavan plans to remove these negative charges in his classes by giving us many experiences from childhood, at birth, in the womb and past lives.

The next important thing that will be done is to remove the fear of death. For this, all participants will be taken to the other lokas to meet their ancestors and friends who have passed away. Meeting them will make us realise that they are all very much with us. Death is but going from one state to another and is supposed to be a wonderful experience.

Then we will receive experiences with Lord Shiva and Maa Kali where the ego will be removed and we begin to feel Oneness. Bhagavan also promised us a trip into the other lokas such as Vaikuntam to meet Lord Vishnu, etc. All these experiences will be for Hindus. A Christian or Muslim or those belonging to other religions will have varying experiences that they can relate to. And of course, each individual’s experience will be his own, different from the others.

Then we will be given experiences of Oneness with the other human beings on earth, Oneness with all other living things such as animals, insects, etc and lastly with plants and trees. Bhagavan says that all along we have only heard of these but in the following classes will experience these.

Then Bhagavan explained about the relevance of the year 2012. He says that it is important for three reasons.

1. One era is marked from the time when the Kurukshetra War began in the Mahabharata. 2012 is the culmination of 5,300 years since then and marks the end of the feeling of division and the beginning of Oneness.
2. It is also the end of the cycle of 24,000 years of Sathya Yuga, Treta Yuga, Dwapara Yuga and Kali Yuga.
3. This one is totally fascinating! 2012 is the mid-point in the lifespan of the Universe. The Universe began as a small dot 37 thousand billion years ago. It has been evolving since then with the creation of galaxies, the Sun, the Earth, the Moon, etc. Life appeared way later and Man even later. Today, at the mid-point in the lifespan of the Universe, Man will evolve as a Mukta (enlightened one) in the year 2012. Imagine what kind of a progress the Universe will face over the coming 37 thousand billion years when the beginning point will be Mukti of Man. The mind boggles! A small dot to Mukti of Man to what….? Absolutely enthralling.

As Bhagavan says, there is no end to Mukti. You keep growing in your consciousness level even after death.

How will Bhagavan conduct these classes for 64,000 chosen ones from around the world?

Most of the classes will be conducted locally, where the person is living. Bhagavan will be conducting the class Himself through Skype Darshan and not through Acharyajis or Dasajis. There may be a few classes conducted at the Oneness Temple.

By the end of 2011, Bhagavan plans to get his force of 64,000 ready with 108 types of Muktis and make them fit to increase the consciousness of the world population by the year 2012.

Then Bhagavan and his family plan to retire by 2014 when the whole world is transformed to Oneness.

Sharing: VISIT TO THE ONENESS TEMPLE

On my visit to Chennai in November, I was very keen to take my parents to visit the Oneness Temple in Golden City at Varadaiyapalem. It was also a first-time visit for me. I was kind of disappointed when I heard that is was not possible to take darshan of the Golden Ball.

But it is obvious that Amma Bhagavan wanted to give me way more. Bhagavan was giving a screen darshan for fifteen minutes each Sunday morning and we had planned our visit on November 29, 2009 which was a Sunday.

I have to thank my sister Jayashree and her friend Lakshmi for the loan of her car. It was too convenient. Then it was my sister Lakshmi’s colleague Ramesh who acted chauffer. I have to thank both of them for this.

The best was that both my parents could travel the couple of hours up and then down despite the states of their health and visit the temple of Amma Bhagavan. My mother refused a wheel chair and the use of the lift and walked up the staircase to the third floor level praying throughout for Amma Bhagavan’s blessings.

The temple was a sight to see – a superb structure that is made completely of white marble. The weather was just beautiful, warm and mild. As we climbed up the stairs, we could see the green trees and plants for miles to come from all directions.

We reached the huge pillarless hall and took our seats in front of the video screen awaiting darshan of the Lord. Crowd poured in while everything was so well organised and there was not a murmur of disturbance. There were people from all over India and abroad who had come to take the darshan of Sri Bhagavan. There must have been at least 3,000 people in the hall.

And then He was there on the screen! We were just so lucky to have Bhagavan’s darshan peacefully for about 15 minutes while He blessed us and blew us a kiss too! THANK YOU BHAGAVAN!

Spirituality: THE YEAR 2012 - Part 3

…to continue from where I left off in Part 2

We are moving towards a world seeped in Oneness, where man will be able to ‘walk and talk with God’ and there will be ‘heaven on earth’.

How do Amma Bhagavan propose to do this?

Amma Bhagavan have been working on this from the year 1989. This is from the time they opened Jeevashram, the school that they ran twenty years ago. Bhagavan has been working on this since he was three years old. Bhagavan was born on March 7, 1949. He could perceive the golden ball of enlightenment from age three. He has been meditating on this golden ball since then. He has been empowering it over all these years. Finally, his long-term vision has come true in the form of the Oneness Temple at Varadaiahpalem, where the Golden Ball has been consecrated and kept for public viewing. This will help Man increase his consciousness level.

Why this part of the world?

This area of Varadaiahpalem where the Oneness Temple is situated is a belt where many saints have lived over the past few centuries. This is because this area has got the rich potential to create enlightenment. That is the very reason why Amma Bhagavan have chosen this area.

The Golden Ball is the centre point. It is placed in a huge pillar-less hall where around 8,000 people can meditate at one time. When they meditate 24/7 chanting the Moola Mantra, the energy created by them will travel through the morphogenic fields (something in the lines of latitudes and longitudes) and cover the entire Planet Earth, increasing the consciousness levels of both the people and the planet itself.

By the year 2012, Bhagavan expects to have 64,000 human beings with a higher level of consciousness who would pray at this hall, raising the consciousness level of humanity. Once this increases, Man will begin to feel Oneness and that’s how we will go into the Golden Age or Satya Yuga.

What is consciousness?

It can be termed as an invisible energy field that surrounds a being. It is measured as Level of Consciousness (LOC) that calibrates from 0 to 1000. The more the number of calibrations, the higher the consciousness level. An enlightened being is one who calibrates at a high level of consciousness. For example, Lord Jesus calibrated at 999, Lord Buddha at 999 and Lord Krishna at 1000.

In comparison, the average LOC of man had sunk down to as low as 204 at the end of the last century. If it had gone below 200, we could have surely had an apocalypse and the world would have ended. But the presence of one human being with LOC of 1000 calibrations can uplift the entire humanity. Luckily for us, Amma & Bhagavan (two of 1000 calibrations) had already come down to earth by then as Avatars of Enlightenment and saved the earth from such a calamity. It might be difficult to believe, but Indians had a very bad LOC of an average of barely 150 calibrations at that point.

Thanks to Amma Bhagavan, the situation is already well under control and moving on towards betterment in the very near future.

What is enlightenment?

Being enlightened is to attain the state of a Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, Mahatma Gandhi or a Ramana Maharishi. This does not constitute becoming a saint. When one attains enlightenment, one stops feeling the need to harm and that will lead to the end of Kali Yuga. When a person attains the state of Oneness, you get to understand that hurting the other is hurting oneself. Then the need to harm disappears. Along with it leave the negative emotions that we feel such as anger, jealousy, greed, etc.

This does not mean that we will not want to have fun, enjoy life, earn large incomes, etc. We tend to believe that enlightenment and sainthood go hand-in-hand. We could not be more wrong. God is not a saint. He is the one who created fun, wealth, humour and joy. Please understand that we will not be giving up any of these.

In fact, the state we will be attaining is one that is quite unimaginable. We have to experience it to actually know what it is.

Golden Age or Satya Yuga

The consciousness level of humanity and the earth are intertwined and they work in cohesion. When LOC of Man increases, the LOC of the Earth will increase and vice versa.

Global warming will come to an end as Man will stop warring with nature and will understand the value of the Green Belt and treat it with better respect. Just as Man stops hurting human beings, He will also stop harming the Earth, will realise that He is but harming himself. He will stop fighting against the seasons like we do today. In summer we complain of heat, in winter we complain of cold and during rains we complain of the wet. Just stop and think for a minute what will happen if the seasons don’t do their work. We are so lost when the rains get delayed. Will the Earth function without the Sun that is the centre of the Solar System?

Yes, Man will begin to think on a totally different level altogether. The tremendous shift in consciousness levels will bring about an enhancement in CREATIVITY, HEALTH, WEALTH, PROSPERITY, RELATIONSHIPS and more.

With constant prayers and relentless efforts of a certain percentage of people the whole of humanity will stand to gain, to enter the Golden Age.

On June 6, 2012, during the Venus Transit, Bhagavan has predicted that the Earth will come to a stand still, it will stop rotating. That is the point when everyone had wondered whether the Earth will die. Now, thanks to Amma Bhagavan, we know that the exact opposite is going to happen. The Earth will become enlightened absolutely along with all the human beings living on it.

This wonderful and incredible phenomenon is to occur less than three years hence. I hope that we all sail through the intermittent time without any hardships. I sincerely pray to the Creator – Amma Bhagavan – to take us all safely into the GOLDEN AGE.
