Well, August 15 has become a very important day in my life for more than one reason.
The first is that it is the Independence Day of my country of birth - INDIA.
Secondly, it is the birthday of AMMA of Oneness University and is also called the Day of Love.
There is a third reason why today is one of celebration. It is the birthday of http://www.burrp.com/. The website came into being on August 15, 2006 and is celebrating its fifth birthday after a successful completion of four years. burrp! makes its presence felt in eight cities, namely - Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata and Ahmedabad.
This lifestyle website brings you information about all businesses in major cities of India - restaurants, nightclubs, theatres, art galleries, films, spas, salons, shopping malls and more. And it is also a huge database for events happening in all these cities. You name it and it is there on burrp!
And what if it is not there? That's extremely simple - add it yourself right here. But of course, this is linked to Mumbai city. You are welcome to add your info to the city of your choice.
burrp! is also very much of Face Book - your favourite social networking site - with over 12,000 fans. Become a member. Today is the right day for it, folks, it being burrp! birthday and all that.

Sharing: BHAGAVAN'S BIRTHDAY!
Sri Bhagavan of Oneness University is an Avatar for Enlightenment. He has come down to earth to give enlightenment to 'man' and bring about the smooth transition into the Golden or the Aquarian Age where the Earth will be ruled not by the head but by the heart.
Bhagavan was born on March 7, 1949. That makes him 61 years old today. Let's all wish Bhagavan a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Let's hope and pray that the transition into the Golden Age beginning in the year 2012 will be as smooth as possible. And let us all thank Bhagavan and Amma for all the miracles that have happened in our lives over the past few years since our association with the Oneness University.
I would also like to request Bhagavan to increase the consciousness level of every single human being on this earth by a few notches right now, on the occasion of His birthday! I pray for the increase in consciousness of the Earth too.
Thank you so much Bhagavan, for coming down to Earth to take care of all of us and to ring in the Golden Age!

Sharing: MY BIRTHDAY
I know it sounds pretty self-involved talking about my birthday celebrations. But I have to share this with one and all.
I had the biggest surprise of my life when a group of friends from WEB 18 barged into our section - Nicky, Sagina, Nilima, Shilpa, Vaishali and Chaitanya - in the evening around 4 pm. They were loudly singing Happy Birthday and almost had me blushing.
They were armed with a fruit cake from Mongini's, a knife and a camera. What more could a birthday woman ask for?
They sang wildly while they made me cut the cake, fed it to me, ate some themselves, helped themselves to the chocolate bars (tiny ones) on my desk, wished me loudly, caught me on camera a number of times and burrped loudly before I shooed them away.
They made my birthday absolutely memorable. Thank you Guys! :D

Sharing: DAY OF LOVE
August 15 as we know it is the Indian Independence Day. It is one more important day - The day of love that happens to be Amma's birthday. The Avatar was born on August 15, 1954. That makes her 55 years old today. Amma is the Avatar of Love to balance Bhagavan's Avatar of Wisdom. Together they have come to the Earth to increase the level of consciousness of both the planet and the earthlings. Thus, they will lead us into the Aquarian Age or the Golden Age known as Sath Yuga by June, 2012. Let's all wish Amma a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY. And thank you Amma, for bringing LOVE into our barren lives. :D I wish and pray that the Sath Yuga is rung in smoothly and mankind attains mukti without any trials or tribulations.
