Quick-fix Meal: EGG CURRY

Fast and easy to prepare with no complications and delicious to eat!


Egg – 2
Garam Masala Powder - 1 large pinch
Coriander leaf - ½ tsp (chopped)
Chilli Powder - 1 pinch
Turmeric Powder - 1 pinch
Oil - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste

For Gravy:

Onion - 1 large (cut into pieces)
Tomato - 1 large (cut into pieces)
Garlic - 2 cloves (peeled and cut)
Ginger - ¼ tsp (grated)
Green chillies - 1 (cut into two)


Hard boil the eggs*. Let them cool and peel of the shell. Slice the egg lengthwise in halves and place them in a bowl one piece beside the other, the cut side facing up. Blend the ingredients for the gravy into a smooth paste. Add water if required. Take a saucepan and heat the oil in it. Add the garam masala powder and then the gravy mixture to it. Add salt, chilli and turmeric powders and cook it for about five minutes. Then pour it over the egg pieces set aside. Garnish with coriander leaves. Relish it hot with bread or rotis.

*Heat water in a pan and add the eggs to it. Let the water boil enough to form cracks on the eggshell.
