MY REVIEW

The Evil Twin? is the love story of Vinnie and Reyan who live in the USA. Vinnie works as a bartender and is an expert at her job. When she sees Reyan’s car roll down a slope, it’s Vinnie who calls an ambulance and accompanies him to the hospital. Reyan is hooked the moment he sets eyes on her. She finds him physically irresistible and agrees to a relationship of sorts where she insists on calling the shorts. But Reyan keeps getting closer, and closer. Will she be able to keep him out of her heart?

Then there are their pasts that catch up with them as pasts tend to do. Will their relationship thrive under the circumstances? You will have to read The Evil Twin? to find out for yourself.

PG Van can sure weave a story and I especially like the way the relationship builds not just between the protagonists, but also the other characters in the story. And yes, they were also necessary. I, for one, enjoy reading about the secondary characters and found Ms. Van’s characters extremely relatable. 

Another important point to note is the steaminess of the love scenes and boy, are there a number of those! Well written and fun filled. And they fitted perfectly with the storyline. Kudos to the author!

What I would have liked less is the length of the book. A strong editing hand would have made the story tighter. 

VERDICT: If you like a romance with loads of steam, then you shouldn’t miss this one.
